I don't think trade issues caused unrest at either Kiribati (long before Trump in the making) or Cook Islands (now cozying up to PRC) where there has been no unrest at all. But I do agree the implications of trade barriers against allies and/or neutrals such as Japan and Philippines et al is a very significant danger. Thanks again for sharing your wise thoughts.
